Application for Employment

Application for Employment

There are various ways in which people can apply to work for Company.

The majority of our applications come directly through advertising on the internet and through our website at [...........}.

Where applications are of interest, we will ask the applicant to complete details regarding their work history and experience and skills via an application form, in addition to asking them to forward us a copy of their resume.

It is important that the candidate has included basic information such as their full name, address and contact details, their previous work history, education and training, and referees.

Information such as marital status, age, health, nationality, religion, or sexual preference may not be sought by way of an application form or interview as this could indicate a discriminatory approach in deciding whether a candidate can do the job. Of the above, health is qualified by seeking on a form a qualifier that would be “Is there any reason known to you that would prevent you from physically completing the tasks outlined in this position?”

It is appropriate that we acknowledge receipt of all applications, resumes or C/Vs sent to us, even if there is no current vacancy that we are trying to fill. Any unsolicited applications will be directed to the appropriate Manager who will be responsible for responding to the candidate using one of our standard letter for unsolicited job applications. Every candidate should be treated like a potential employee or employee.

Unless unsuccessful candidates have provided consent for Company to keep the their resume or application for employment, all such material shall be destroyed within 24 hours of it being received.
