Communications We invest in you Philosophy At Company we know that effective communication both internally to employee and externally to our employee and key stakeholders is vital to our success. Communication is more than 'knowing what's going on today'. Effective communication in our workplace builds knowledge, improves our relationships with each other and our customers and improves our business performance. Our approach at Company is to facilitate as many appropriate opportunities, both formal and informal, for two way communication to take place. We will expect everyone at Company to endeavour to communicate with purpose, in a timely fashion, and with focus on the right method and amount of communication. Policy At Company our communication will be clear and concise, and will use language that respects an individual's background and experience. Both the content and tone of our communication will reflect our values. It is every employee's responsibility to work hard to make all communication, both internal and external honest, transparent, meaningful and timely. We will all endeavour to use the most appropriate communication channel for the situation, and when practical and possible, we will try to avoid substituting electronic communication for personal interaction. Where possible we will check for understanding. When convening and conducting meetings, we will be respectful of everyone's time, have transparent objectives for the meeting and have an agreed process for capturing actions and outcomes.
