Ethics Gifts & Gratuities Many of our employees and suppliers are satisfied with the services we provide them as a Company and as individuals and some like to say "thank you" with a gift. These gifts can be as small as getting together for a drink to a present of a more substantial nature. Company would rather you were not put in a position of discomfort or embarrassment by a gift from a employee or supplier. The vast majority of people give gifts with honest intentions. There are a small number that do so with other motives in mind, specifically to gain some benefit or advantage from your relationship with them or others. On this basis we ask you to use your judgment on what you believe is appropriate to accept and what is not. You should advise your Manager of any such decisions so that you are never compromised. You should not accept cash or money in any format. Many businesses will offer you promotional material for free. Again, use your judgment on what you believe is appropriate to accept and what is not. If you are unsure, then discuss the issue with your Manager. There should never be any expectation set by us of our employees or suppliers that we should be given a gift as part of our relationship. All of our commercial arrangements are fair and we are paid to do the work we do. You should refer to our Code of Professional Practice and Ethics for further information.
