Security

It is our expectation that everyone connected with Company make an honest attempt to protect the business and its employees from damage of any kind. Security is everybody’s responsibility.

Damage can occur in a variety of ways:

  • Through physical damage to the premises and contents through fire, water or other impediments. It can be to infrastructure by damage to hardware or systems of the business.
  • Through confidential information being passed on to others who take advantage of the business through this knowledge, or advantage their own situation by knowing this.
  • To the reputation of Company by the poor behaviour of those associated with it is also possible.
  • By the loss of employees through injury is perhaps the other component to be aware of.

Accidents, theft and sabotage are also forms of damage. Company believes that its employees are honest and as such security measures are installed to protect the business from outside persons rather than from our employees.

In terms of access to and from our buildings or those of our employee, you may be given security codes,  passes or keys that you should retain in a safe place.

If you have any concerns about the security procedures or that others are ignoring them, you should advise your manager as a matter of urgency. Any significant breach of security may result in disciplinary action.

You should refer to our Code of Professional Practice and Ethics for further guidance.
